Course objective: To understand the place of the book of Numbers within the Pentateuch as written by Moses about 1,500 years before Christ. We want to find its relevance for Christian life. We want to discover within it topology about Jesus. We shall use it as an example for coming to grips with difficult passages that trouble the modern reader. Finally, we want to make practical use of the course by producing either sermons or bible study lessons which can be used in a church or small group setting.
